Rest of Spring into Summer ...
( Semi finished post of the last bit of my Spring into Summer: expect more on my Typepad Blog ):
We're half through Summer and I'm just sharing about Spring but rest assured, I've embraced it all with a grateful heart and wonderment. Life is Art indeed.
Started to re-do the living room and falling in love with our home again:

Continued to experiment with cooking + loving food in general:

Hawai'i
( Semi finished post on my trip to Hawai'i in May: expect more on my Typepad Blog ) ...
Hawai'i is home for me. The whole island ( of Oahu and some of the Big Island ) is literally family and going home is food for my soul: it goes beyond d-e-e-p.
+ History (Mid/Late 1960's/Mid 1970's):

This past April our beloved (Manang/Grandma/Auntie) Sally passed away (Rest in Peace) and as I didn't go to Uncle Sat's service, I felt like I needed to go home this time. It was 2 1/2 days of sensory overload:
